May the 4th be with you!

So today is Intergalactic Star Wars Day, and I being a giant geek decided I would write down the top 10 things I learned from the original Star Wars Trilogy.

#10 No one will mess with you if you play the imperial death march when you enter a room.
#9 Just because your army is expendable doesn’t mean you shouldn’t teach them how to aim.
#8 The coolest way to respond to someone saying they love you is to reply “I know”
#7 Discretion is the better part of valor, let the wookie win.
#6 Always double check, those might BE the droids you’re looking for.
#5 Do or do not, there is no try.
#4 It is never too late to find redemption.
#3 Don’t judge people based on appearance, someone you dismiss at first might end up being a Jedi Master.
#2 Be careful who you kiss, she may end up being your sister.
#1 The force will be with you, always.

Happy Star Wars Day Everyone!

Doom Beta Impressions!

After recently playing the Doom closed multiplayer beta, here are my initial impressions…
Write this down…

It’s awesome!

This is coming from someone who doesn’t even really enjoy playing online games. I coerced myself into trying it out because, “Hey it’s Doom,” I told myself. What ensued was actually a fun, frantic foray to the pits of hell. The closed beta was only open to those who received a code after pre-ordering Wolfenstein: The New Order. The open beta will be released on April 15th through April 17th.header

The Civil War Starts Here

Greenshot image editor - CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR Movie Clip - Right to Choose_2016-04-12_12-45-47

As we get closer and closer to the release of Captain America: Civil War, we are getting some longer clips from the movie. Critics who have seen the film promise there are plenty of secrets that the Russo Brothers haven’t revealed yet. In this clip, Steve Rogers and Tony Stark argue about whether or not they should sign the agreement to give up control of the Avengers to the United Nations. It’s not really new information, but it gives a deeper context to the argument that starts the Civil War.

Batman v Superman Spoiler Free Review

Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice is another misstep in DC’s attempt to compete with Marvel’s cinematic universe, but while the first half of the film falls flat, the titular fight saves the whole event from being a total bore.

Zack Snyder Actually Cut a Scene from Batman v Superman for Being too Dark

That’s right, Zack Snyder cut a scene from Batman v. Superman because it was too dark.

During the third act of Batman v Superman, Lex Luthor has his minions abduct Ma Kent and then tells Superman to go kill Batman or he’ll have her killed. IGN asked Zack Snyder why Superman didn’t hear his mother’s cries for help using his superhearing. Snyder replied that he thinks the distance between Metropolis and Smallville is about the extent of Superman’s hearing range.
